Hi Wally. I was sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She and your father were always very kind to me when I visited your home.
From the Brahma Tales Friday, Oct. 11, 1974 edition:
"Never say wait to me,
for I am youth.
I am a green September
In the clean, crackling air of shivering anticipation.
I know time is short as the days grow darker.
Now is the time, the time to fulfill the dreams dreamt in those early golden days.
Now is the time to seek new excitement and quivering sensations.
I must hurry.
October is the time I will stop to wonder of life and its mysteries.
Then, I will make my grave decisions to decide my lot in this everlasting, everchanging world.
November, I will work toward those goals and never give another thought to September or October.
But in December I will look back upon those days.
I will scoff at November for all its earnestness.
I will tolerate October as a sentimental journey for my soul.
But I will long for the green September and my youth.
That is why I must not wait now.
I must hurry to do the things I would otherwise long for in December when snow covers every path I want to follow.
For I am youth, do not tell me to wait.
I must hurry."
Author unknown, but it might have been by Aletha Irby.
Thanks, April! I've been searching for this.

Is it just me, or does anyone else start singing the words to the 1974 song "Magic" by Pilot every time the commercial for Ozempic comes on TV?
"Oh, ho, ho, it's magic, you knowwwwww. Never believe it's not sooooooo, it's magic..."
Hi Laura, I was sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was born in the same year as my late father
Did you go by another name in high school?
